Last night's knitting was a quick little project. Meet Hedgehog the cat toy. The tan yarn was a freebie from the Hub Mills store in Lowell and yellow "fur" is leftover from last year's flip-flop decoration with a bit of leftover black thrown in. He's stuffed with leftover batting from previously made quilts and a hefty bit of catnip as well. He's soaking wet this morning so I think the cats have really enjoyed him. I'll have to make a few more.
What a cutie!!!

There's nothing like a dribble filled cat toy to make you feel like you've got success!

Hi Julie -
That cat toy is toooooo cute!! Isaac and I knit a cat-toy mouse together one afternoon that requires a little imagination to see the mouse in its design, but the cat loves it nonetheless. At 3-4 AM every morning she'll start howling as she drags it through the house, announcing she's back from the hunt. It's been the most thankless gift I've ever given - no sleep ever since!!
Cheers!
Heather
